Eco Celebrity Cameron Diaz

This year Cameron Diaz has kept herself busy spreading the word on how fashion can help to save the environment! Most notably this summer she was interviewed by VOGUE and appeared on the front cover labeled as the ‘Queen of Green’ yet she makes environmentally conscious shopping choices with little fanfare. As a role model with the power to influence young and old, Cameron Diaz sets a great example for others to follow. In VOGUE’s June 09 issue, she was photographed wearing a number of eco-chic clothing and accessories from a 3.1 Philip Lim eco-dyed 100 percent natural silk dress to an Eco Emporia belt made from a reclaimed fire hose! Be it her preferred fashion brands or car manufacturer (she drives a Prius), Diaz should be applauded for continually making choices in her everyday life that help preserve the environment. She is a quiet supporter, who sets a great example. We cannot all be environmental activists but “We all add up”. And if everyone does their part in their own life, the world will be a healthier place.
